Please listen to the options carefully and select the correct access option for you.

Each morning we have a number of telephone calls which will be released.  These will be limited for on the day acute and medically emergency issues, please note the doctor may require you to attend on the day for assessment.   Once these slots are full we will be at our maximum safe capacity for that day and extras cannot be added. You will then be asked to ring back at 8.30am on the next working day.

The afternoon remains medical emergency only. 

We ask our Medical Receptionists to ask you for a summary of why you are ringing n order for us to be able to triage and prioritise the numerous calls received daily. Please be respectful to our staff as they deal with your questions.

Press option 3 for: RESULTS between 1.30pm and 2.30pm Monday to Friday

Press option4 for:  MEDICAL EMERGENCES

Press option 5 for: REPEAT PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS. Available Monday to Friday 08.30am to 6.00pm.

  • Our booking lines are extremely busy and our medical reception team are doing all they can to answer all calls as soon as they can. 
  • Please be patient and one of team will assist you.
  • Should you experience any difficulties with our telephone system - please inform a member of the reception team, so this can be reported to our telecoms provider. 

Blood tests

We are only booking blood appointments for patients who require medication monitoring and or those that the doctors have requested attend for bloods.   We have limited daily appointments so please book in advance when required. 

Smear Appointments

Please call the surgery to book an appointment for your routine smear.

Contraceptive Pill Checks

To book an appointment for your annual check to please ring to speak to a doctor or book an appointment with one of our practice nurses.

Appointments for Asthma, Diabetes, etc

To book an appointment for your annual review please ring to book an appointment in the relevant clinics.

DO I NEED TO SEE A GP?

Dental Care - If you are experiencing oral pain or have concerns about your dental health, please contact your registered dentist. They will assess your symptoms and guide you toward the most appropriate treatment. Please note that priority is strictly given to urgent problems such as severe toothache or infection. 

Out of Hours Emergency Dental Treatment - If you have a dental emergency when your surgery is closed (evenings, weekends or bank holidays) call your dental practice first and listen to the answering machine message for local emergency instructions. If you cannot reach your dentist, emergency dental clinics operate across the trust areas and are available for unregistered patients or those with urgent clinical needs.
